Welcome to Dan & Diane's 55 Chevy page This car was purchased by my brother James Greathouse in 1990 or so, It was a project that he never got a chance to finish. He died after retiring from the Air Force after 20 years military service, he served mostly as an F-16 Crew Chief. All 3 brothers Mike, James, and I loved Cars and Aircraft our whole lives. When James first saw this car and couldn't resist buying this classic.
This Classic sat in Texas for 2 years,  I don’t think anyone wanted to think about selling it. My wife and I decided to bring the car to Ohio after much anguish and indecision where it was stored for about 8 years total. Our goal was to try to restore it on a low budget and here are the results I think he would be proud..
My brother was well liked by everyone he met. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him .He is missed. He was a great brother and wonderful son to our parents.
I know we are very proud to own and often drive such a classic, and James would approve of the results also.
