MY FAVORITE BOOKS!!

My all time favorite book is by Ken Follett and is called "The Pillars Of The Earth". It is set in the 1100 period in Europe and is a historical novel. It is about a mason and his family and the building of a fabulous cathedral. It's about the time when King Henry died without a male heir and Stephen came to the throne. It is full of mystery, love, and deceit. It is exceptional and I recommend it most highly!!!


I also recommend "The Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. This book is about a women who visits Scotland and ends up being transported back in time to the 18th century. There Claire meets and falls in love with Jamie. There are four books in the series. And Ms. Gabaldon is hard at work on a fifth. Their titles are: "Dragonfly in Amber" "Voyager" "Drums of Autumn" This is a very interesting book.


OK, I am just going to name some books that I really, really liked now.

ANY book by Ken Follett, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Jean M. Auel, Larry McMurtry, Peter Straub, or Anne Rice.

"Sarum" by Edward Rutherfurd.

"The Midwife's Advice" by Gay Courter.

"Smilla's Sense Of Snow" by Peter Hoeg.

"All The Rivers Run" by Nancy Cato.

"Follow The River" by ?.

"Swan Song" Robert R. McCammon.

I have just read"Angela's Ashes"and "Tis"by Frank McCourt. They were both very good. And Dean Koontz's "False Memories" was VERY good.
