Trooping the Colour 2024 Outfit

Trooping the Colour in June 2024 became a more anticipated event than usual, as it marked the first public appearance of the Princess of Wales since her cancer diagnosis earlier that year. For the occasion Kate wore a white Jenny Packham dress and a Philip Treacy hat.

The dress was a rewearing of one previously seen the year before at a pre-coronation luncheoan. It had been tweaked with the addition of a striped bow at the neckline and a striped belt instead of the original black one. The 'dome' hat was from Treacy's 2024 collection . Because the dress was so slightly altered, the hat was off the peg, and Kate's attendabce was not publcized until shortly before the event, it seems likely that her health situation made her appearance a relatively last minute decision and no outfit had been previously co-ordinated.

This recreation for the Franklin Mint vinyl Kate Middleton doll is in white Amaretto linen, fully line in blush. It features the black neckline trim, striped bow and belt of the original, and closes in the back with snaps. The hat is in black and white felt with a faux feather, and the purse in black pleather. Shoes are from the Franklin Mint Princess Diana White Chiffon Gown outfit.
